Connector Links (Connecting Links)

Connector links are essential for joining the ends of roller chain together to complete a loop. Each connector link includes:

• One outer plate with two pins pressed in
• One outer plate that slides over the pins
• Spring clips or cotter pins to secure the assembly

Connector links allow for easy chain installation and removal without the need for special tools. They're the standard method for connecting roller chain in most applications.

Available in: Standard series and heavy duty series for all common ANSI roller chain sizes.

Half Links (Offset Links)

Half links are specialty components used to adjust chain length by one-half pitch increment. They're essential when:

• Standard chain length doesn't provide proper tension adjustment
• You need to fine-tune chain length without removing a full link
• Converting between odd and even numbers of links
• Custom applications requiring precise length control

Each half link consists of one inner plate and one outer plate, creating a half-pitch offset in the chain.

Available in: Standard series and heavy duty series for all common ANSI roller chain sizes.

Standard Series vs. Heavy Duty Series

Standard Series: Connector links and half links for standard ANSI roller chain (e.g., #35, #40, #50, #60, #80, #100, #120, #140, #160, #200, #240). Perfect for general-purpose applications.

Heavy Duty Series: Connector links and half links for ANSI heavy series roller chain (e.g., #35H, #40H, #50H, #60H, #80H, #100H, #120H, #140H, #160H, #200H, #240H). Features thicker plates for increased strength and load capacity in demanding applications.

Applications

Connector links and half links are essential components for:

• Installing new roller chain systems
• Repairing broken or damaged chain
• Adjusting chain length for proper tension
• Field repairs and emergency replacements
• Maintenance inventory and spare parts
• Custom chain length configurations

Why Stock Connector Links & Half Links?

These are must-have items for any maintenance shop or equipment operator. Connector links make chain installation quick and easy, while half links solve length adjustment problems that would otherwise require cutting and pressing chain. Keep a selection of sizes on hand to minimize downtime during repairs.
